This is why when people go “oh hey wanna look at my art? I MEAN IT’S SO BAD I DID SUCH A TERRIBLE JOB” my first instinct is to just tell them “nah, I’m good”
I really hate self-deprecation. It does you no good. It does me no good. Stop it.
During critiques, we were trained not to say bad things when presenting our art, because when you start by pointing out the bad stuff that’s all you’re going to get reflected back at you.
Even if you don’t believe in yourself, believe in the me that believes in you! start the conversation with positive things, and keep with the positive until it becomes your reality.

This is so nice! And this is actually a place in Costa Rica. A couple decided to start a refuge for stray dogs and now own around 700-900 doggies. It’s not state supported. They live on donations. Most are never adopted but live a happy life until their last day. Each of them have a house, bed or a couch to sleep in and have acres and acres of land to explore everyday.
Their project is called Territorio de Zaguates. You can google them or search for them on Facebook to help them out.
